ABOUT GREATER NOIDA

Greater Noida, a developing city in Uttar Pradesh within the National Capital Region (NCR), was developed to ease congestion in Delhi and Noida. Located about 40 kilometres southeast of New Delhi, it’s close to cities like Ghaziabad and Faridabad.

Managed by the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA), the city is designed with modern urban planning, featuring wide roads and well-organised infrastructure. It is divided into zones for residential, commercial, and industrial use.

Greater Noida is well connected via major expressways like the Yamuna and Noida-Greater Noida Expressways. The city has metro access to Delhi and is near the upcoming Noida International Airport, which will further boost its connectivity.

The city is home to major educational institutions, including Sharda University and Galgotias University, making it a hub for higher education. It also attracts multinational companies in sectors like manufacturing and IT, with firms like LG and Yamaha operating there.

Residential options range from affordable to luxury, and the city offers modern amenities such as parks, schools, malls, and hospitals. It also has notable attractions like the Buddh International Circuit for motorsports, the India Expo Mart for trade shows, and the Surajpur Bird Sanctuary for nature lovers. Despite its emphasis on green spaces, Greater Noida shares the air pollution challenges of the NCR. However, with the development of the Noida International Airport and ongoing smart city projects, the city is poised for further growth and modernization.
